Fall TV 2008: Sunday

The bad thing about getting sick on a Sunday afternoon is that you shirk all duties in favor of sleeping for hours.  As I lay dying of a cough, I couldn’t pull myself up to post my Sunday TV grid!  So here it is in all it’s beautiful glory: For me, it’s all about THE AMAZING RACE and the ABC dramas on Sundays.  Of course, I’ll be sure to keep DEXTER and CALIFORNICATION on the DVR and the CBS dramas on

Fall TV 2008: Friday

I have a confession to make – I love TV but I don’t make a point to skip Friday nights out with the gang in order to watch it.  Most of my “Friday night viewing” happens Saturday morning.  I feel so much better now that it’s off my chest.  Here’s the plan for Fridays this fall: I’m definitely recording CRUSOE and LIFE on NBC.  CRUSOE looks really interesting and LIFE was my favorite new show (besides PUSHING DAISIES) last year.

Fall TV 2008: Thursday

We’re now entering the third Fall Season where folks come to my house on Thursdays for a weekly TV party.  Let’s see what we’ll be watching this year. ABC will be life on our TV – UGLY BETTY, GREY’S, and LIFE ON MARS.  I’ll definitely check out the NBC comedies (on the DVR or in reruns), and will TiVo the CW line up and ELEVENTH HOUR on CBS.  CSI can wait for reruns and I’ll just grab my mom’s tape

Fall TV 2008: Mondays and Tuesdays

Yesterday, the Fall TV season started, and I was not prepared at all.  It just didn’t seem right that new shows are up and running, when I have had barely any time to recover from all of the summer TV! Since I was out of commission yesterday with family picnics, I want to cover Monday and Tuesday in one fell swoop.  Here’s what’s on my schedule for this new season.  MONDAY: Mondays are a crazy night for me – it’s

Overexposure of the new shows…

Kate Walsh is every where  (including the new fall TV preview on EW) and I’m not even sure that Private Practice is going to be that good. I see Michele Ryan’s picture on every website related to TV on a daily basis.  The one where she’s in a button down shirt, looking up, “seductively” and “scarily” at the camera? I like Chuck and Zachary Levi, but he is in a commercial every five seconds on NBC. Are networks overexposing their new vehicles in
