He’s juggling two identities and two women in two very different worlds – all under one mountain of lies.   As “Bob,” he lives in Houston and is married to Cat, the beautiful daughter of Clint, the patriarch of an ultra-wealthy Texas oil family. Fall Pilot Review – OUTLAW on NBC

What? Few jobs are guaranteed for a lifetime, and a Supreme Court appointment is a position that no one ever quits — unless he is Cyrus Garza.  A playboy and a gambler, Justice Garza always adhered to a strict interpretation of the law until he realized the system he believed in was flawed.  Now, he’s quit the bench and returned to private practice.  Using his inside knowledge of the justice system, Garza and his team will travel across the country

Fall Pilot Review – NIKITA on The CW

What? When she was a deeply troubled teenager, Nikita was rescued from death row by a secret U.S. agency known only as Division, who faked her execution and told her she was being given a second chance to start a new life and serve her country. What they didn’t tell her was that she was being trained as a spy and assassin. Throughout her grueling training at Division, Nikita never lost her humanity, even falling in love with a civilian.

Fall Pilot Review – TERRIERS on FX

What? TERRIERS is a drama series centering on ex-cop Hank Dolworth and his partner and best friend Britt Pollack, two small0time unlicensed private investigators who become embroiled in a big scandal.  Comedic, edgy, original, a show about high stakes in the face of low expectations, TERRIERS explores what it’s like in today’s America to be “too small to fail.”  Along for the ride are Hank’s ex wife Gretchen, Britt’s girlfriend Katie, Hank’s ex colleague Mark Gustafson, and Hank’s attorney Maggie.

Fall Pilot Review – HELLCATS on The CW

What? Marti Perkins is a pre-law student at Lancer University in Memphis, Tennessee.  She hip, she’s edgy, she wears REALLY short shirts, and she is a townie with “working class roots”.  She finds out that the scholarship she relies on has been canceled after she gets the mail before her mother does.  She realizes the only way she can stay in school is by using the gymnastics background she has to impress the school’s cheer squad; they just so happen

My DVR’s Take on Fall TV: Sunday

Last day worth talking about (sorry Saturday).  Lots of open real estate on my schedule for this one.  I’ve only added in BROTHERS & SISTERS because a chat with David Marshall Grant (coming soon) really upped my interest in the new season.  I don’t watch anything on Fox on Sundays, ever, and The CW doesn’t show anything anyway! What about you – am I missing something big on Sundays? MONDAY 8:00 8:30 9:00 9:30 10:00 10:30 Living Room 1 THE

My DVR’s Take on Fall TV: Friday

Not a whole lot on Friday nights, and I’m always willing to add something new if need be.  Sure, OUTLAW was tragically boring, and I’m not positive that I’ll even like SCHOOL PRIDE, but we’ll see!  Biggest thing of note – congrats to SMALLVILLE and SUPERNATURAL for getting a spot on the living room TV for the first time in years ha! What about you – what does your Friday look like? MONDAY 8:00 8:30 9:00 9:30 10:00 10:30 Living
