Comic-Con 2013 Programming Schedule Revealed!

Over the weekend, Comic Con released their day-to-day schedule.  Here are the TV-related events that you should check out if you’re going!  Seems like there is a TON of overlap on Friday and Saturday among my favorite shows, while Thursday and Sunday seem light, as always!  What are you going to see when you’re in San Diego?  What panels should I try to attend while I’m there? July 17 • Wednesday   6:00PM – 10:00PM Special Sneak Peek Pilot Screenings Ballroom 20

Quick Take: PERSON OF INTEREST Season 2 brings more of the same, and that’s just fine with me!

When we left PERSON OF INTEREST at the end of its first season run, week by week, the danger of using the Machine and everything involved had begun to catch up on our heroes, and then, before you knew it, Finch was kidnapped at gunpoint by Amy Acker (playing the fantastic villain Root; she reprises her role in the premiere and throughout the second season).  When the show comes back tonight after a summer away, Reese is doing everything he

My Take on…HAVEN Season 3 Premiere “301”

A lot of fuss has been made these last few years about Syfy’s great scripted shows, like WAREHOUSE 13, ALPHAS, and EUREKA (before its untimely demise), but little gets said about one of my favorite reasons to turn the network on Friday nights: the criminally under-discovered gem HAVEN.  HAVEN stars Emily Rose as Audrey Parker (or Lucy Ripley, or Sarah before that), an FBI agent turned local police detective in the crazy and dangerous town of Haven, ME. When we

REVOLUTION: I’d Better Take Up Archery

This year at San Diego Comic Con, there was no shortage of SWAG featuring a power button symbol and ominous looking portraits of people looking into the distance. Cheesy? Yes. Effective? Yet to be determined. I didn’t make to pilot screening or the Q & A.  And I was really sad about it, because with all the promotion, I was really curious. So when the pilot became available, I jumped at the chance to watch it. I was not disappointed!

GRIMM: The Good, The Bad, and the “Oh Hai Mom!”

The end of the first season resulted in the most awkward family reunion pretty much ever, with the realization that the curly-haired female ninja turns out to be Nick’s thought-dead mother. Apparently there was a case of mistaken identity, and she’s been alive the entire time. Seeking vengeance. In hiding. To keep Nick safe. Yeah, ok. Juliette is still in the hospital, slowly losing pieces of her memory. Awesome. That means the fact that Nick came clean with her and

Comic Con 2012: Talking HAVEN with Emily Rose, Lucas Bryant, and Eric Balfour

One of the highlights of Comic Con this year was getting to sit down for sushi and drinks with the stars of one of my favorites: HAVEN.  Lucas Bryant, Eric Balfour, and Emily Rose sat down with a few of us to discuss what’s coming up in Season 3, what guest stars they’d love to have on the show, and why Emily finds herself shaking her head no at the boys more often than not!  Check out the video above
