Talking MOM with Beth Hall

When Beth Hall (Wendy) became a Mom series regular this season, she reached a personal goal. In fact, during a recent telephone call to me, she admitted that it’s what she’s most proud of in her entire career saying, “I’m most proud of reaching this goal, of being a regular in a series. I guess that’s the goal of a lot of actors who want to do television.” Hall had no idea her role would evolve into a regular, however.

From the Set: The cast of CHICAGO MED give us a look at what to expect!

Last week, to celebrate the premiere of CHICAGO MED, the third in the Chicago trilogy created and engineered by Dick Wolf, I spent some time in Chicago talking to as many members of the cast as I was able to! To introduce you to the characters, here is a bit of a cast breakdown (h/t Marissa for putting this together), and if we had the chance to speak with them, I’ve included a video (all videos can be found on

AMERICA’S FUNNIEST HOME VIDEOS Interview: Alfonso Ribeiro previews the show’s long life and re-retiring The Carlton

As a member of the generation that grew up watching SILVER SPOONS and THE FRESH PRINCE OF BEL AIR, there was barely a week that went by where I didn’t see Alfonso Ribeiro on my TV.  As his career continued, and he took on various hosting duties and tackled DANCING WITH THE STARS (coming out of it with the coveted mirror ball trophy), I’ve continued to enjoy watching his career grow and change. This season, he has taken over as

AGENTS OF S.H.I.E.L.D. Interview: Daz Crawford talks Kebo, Hydra, and how Hollywood typecasting shapes his roles

Marvel’s AGENTS OF S.H.I.E.L.D. is firing on all cylinders this season – fresh off of an amazing episode that showed us what happened to Jemma Simmons in the 4,722 Hours she spent on a dark and dusty planet, we spent some time chatting with Agent Ward’s (Brett Dalton) current right hand man, Kebo (Daz Crawford), about getting into this character, what comes next, fan reaction, keeping the excitement up week after week, and why a career in comedy is being

Zoe McLellan talks NCIS: New hair, new friends, and NEW ORLEANS

Season 2 of NCIS: NEW ORLEANS kicked off a few weeks back with much of the same crime-solving around New Orleans, a fresh addition to the team in Shalita Grant’s character Sonja, and a very noticeable aesthetic change for Special Agent Meredith Brody – a shoulder cut bob that’s become a focal point, earning her (and her character) the nickname of “Luscious Locks.”  To talk about how a haircut is sometimes more significant than just a hair cut, plus what’s

Quick Take: Jadyn Wong gives a quick look into S2 of SCORPION

SCORPION’s Jadyn Wong has a busy schedule while she films season 2, so any chance to ask her a few questions about the show, I’ll take them! She and I had a chance to swap some stories back and forth over the weekend about what is coming next for this season of the show, what she hopes to see, and what she does in her downtime!  Take a quick look at what she had to say and be sure to

Comic Con 2015: Previewing S3 of THE ORIGINALS

I had the chance to sit down with the cast and creative team behind The CW’s THE ORIGINALS (premiering tonight at 9/8c after the Dobrev-less VAMPIRE DIARIES) while we were down in San Diego for Comic Con 2015! Daniel Gillies, Charles Michael Davis, Yusuf Gatewood, Julie Plec, Michael Narducci, Leah Pipes, Phoebe Tonkin, and Danielle Campbell spilled the tea on what’s coming in S3 and why everyone should be tuning in.  Let us know what you think!

Comic Con 2015: Talking ARROW with the cast and EPs

At SDCC this year, we had the chance to sit with the lovely team from ARROW to grill them all about what comes next in S4 now that things are happy for Oliver & Felicity and the Arrow seems to no longer exist.  Check out the 7 videos above with the cast and EPs takling about their characters and their new themes for S4, premiering at 8/7c on The CW tonight, 10/7.

Comic Con 2015: THE FLASH cast and creative team preview S2

Some of the best press round tables from this summer’s San Diego Comic Con were those from the cast and creative team behind THE FLASH.  After a first season that packed thousands of hours of story into 22 episodes, the team promises that Season 2 will not drop that fast pace (no FLASH pun intended ha).  Having seen the highly emotional first episode that shows Barry coming to terms with the events of the season finale, I can promise that

Tricia Helfer talks CON MAN, conventions, and the double edged sword of playing an iconic sci-fi character

Earlier this year, Alan Tudyk hinted at his latest collaboration with Nathan Fillion in a conversation we were having about his other work.  That collaboration, CON MAN, is officially available through Vimeo as of today!  To celebrate the release of his crowdfunded comedy web series, I got on the phone to chat with guest star Tricia Helfer about what to expect, Re-Born doll conventions, going unrecognizable on the street, and the double-edged sword that results from playing an iconic character
