Video: Juliet Rylance previews AMERICAN GOTHIC on CBS

While spending time with the cast and creative teams of some of CBS’ Summer shows earlier this month, we had a chance to sit at a round table interview with Juliet Rylance, who plays the golden child of the Hawthorne clan (thusly dubbed once Garrett left town mysteriously years ago), Alison Hawthorne-Price, the politician looking to run for Mayor of Boston. We asked her about working with this cast, what to expect out of the show, and how creepy Cam’s

Talking BRAINDEAD with Mary Elizabeth Winstead and Aaron Tveit

The final segment of our BRAINDEAD interviews from CBS Summer Press day last week is a lovely chat with Mary Elizabeth Winstead (Laurel) and Aaron Tveit (Gareth) about the physicality needed for the show, their characters’ interaction, and what fans can expect. They have a breezy rapport that stands out on screen – I think that their slow burn of a relationship is going to be one reason (of many) to keep coming back for more each week!  Check out

Tony Shalhoub on his new series BRAINDEAD

Tony Shalhoub, known to longtime TV fans as Antonio from WINGS, Monk from, well, MONK, and a wide variety of critically well-received roles, brings his talent to CBS’ latest Summer series, BRAINDEAD, as Red Wheatus, a Republican Senator who falls “victim” to what is eating the minds of some of Washington’s best and brightest. While his affliction (brain-bugs) may seem dire, what it helps him become overall? It’s maybe not as bad as it sounds. BRAINDEAD is the brainchild of

Creators Robert and Michelle King preview BRAINDEAD on CBS

Last week, a group of TV press met in NYC with the cast and creative teams behind CBS’ Summer shows. The first video from that CBS Summer Press series is an interview with THE GOOD WIFE creators Robert and Michelle King. Their new series, BRAINDEAD, a completely off-the-wall show about brain-eating alien ants who came to Earth with a mission (that we don’t know just yet), and how it impacts the politicians in Washington, D.C., during a government shut down,

Comic Con 2015: The cast and creatives behind LUCIFER give us the scoop

Tonight on FOX (9/8c), do yourself a favor and spend some time with Lucifer Morningstar, the devil himself, as he takes a vacation from Hell to somehow end up helping the LAPD solve crimes.  Sounds like a stretch, sure, but Tom Ellis, and his chemistry with everyone he talks to, period, makes the show better than your average supernatural dramedy. LUCIFER comes from the DC comics world, where the devil was most popular as a supporting character in The Sandman

From the Set: The cast of CHICAGO MED give us a look at what to expect!

Last week, to celebrate the premiere of CHICAGO MED, the third in the Chicago trilogy created and engineered by Dick Wolf, I spent some time in Chicago talking to as many members of the cast as I was able to! To introduce you to the characters, here is a bit of a cast breakdown (h/t Marissa for putting this together), and if we had the chance to speak with them, I’ve included a video (all videos can be found on

Comic Con 2015: The EPs and cast of SUPERGIRL give us a preview!

Comic Con 2015 was a great time for us as we got to spend time talking with the cast and creative teams behind some of Fall’s best new shows. While we didn’t have the chance to speak with SUPER GIRL herself, Melissa Benoist, we did get some great insight from cast members Mehcad Brooks and Jeremy Jordan, along with thoughts on girl power, the star quality of Benoist, and what we’ll see from this all new show, premiering on CBS

Comic Con 2015: Previewing S3 of THE ORIGINALS

I had the chance to sit down with the cast and creative team behind The CW’s THE ORIGINALS (premiering tonight at 9/8c after the Dobrev-less VAMPIRE DIARIES) while we were down in San Diego for Comic Con 2015! Daniel Gillies, Charles Michael Davis, Yusuf Gatewood, Julie Plec, Michael Narducci, Leah Pipes, Phoebe Tonkin, and Danielle Campbell spilled the tea on what’s coming in S3 and why everyone should be tuning in.  Let us know what you think!

Comic Con 2015: Talking ARROW with the cast and EPs

At SDCC this year, we had the chance to sit with the lovely team from ARROW to grill them all about what comes next in S4 now that things are happy for Oliver & Felicity and the Arrow seems to no longer exist.  Check out the 7 videos above with the cast and EPs takling about their characters and their new themes for S4, premiering at 8/7c on The CW tonight, 10/7.
