Quick Take: THE X FACTOR Season 3 Premieres tonight!

Tonight on Fox, but sure to check out the 3rd season premiere of THE X FACTOR.  The lone holdover from last year’s panel of judges (besides Simon of course) is Demi Lovato, as X FACTOR UK pro Kelly Rowland and Paulina Rubio join the group.  Already, one episode in, the ladies seem to have a great rapport, and they’ve spoken more words than Britney Spears (who I love, don’t yell at me) did all season last year.  Kelly and Paulina

Quick Take: WILFRED is back tonight!!!

One of my favorite comedies on TV, WILFRED, returns to FX tonight at 10/9c with a great season premiere that I’ve now watched 3 times.  Elijah Wood and Jason Gann seem to get better with each passing episode.  The guest stars this season are insane, and I love them all.  Really, the show continues to find ways to make me uncomfortable in the best way possible. There’s not much more that I can add about how much I love the

Quick Take: FRANKLIN & BASH returns to business as usual

Tonight on TNT (9/8c), an all new season of FRANKLIN & BASH starts up with a 2-hour premiere that introduces their new boss, familiar-face Heather Locklear.  Don’t worry, Malcolm McDowell and Reed Diamond are still around, as are Carmen and Pindar; the only noticeable change in this season so far is the departure of Garcelle Beauvais’ Hannah, who is apparently off to another firm on the show, but fired (publicly) from the series for what were apparently storyline-related issues.  And

Quick Take: TWISTED on ABC Family

What happens when, as an 11-year-old kid, you’re sent to juvenile detention for killing a family member, only to be granted freedom at 16?  That’s what ABC Family’s latest hour long drama TWISTED intends to find out.  Avan Jogia (I can’t with that moustche…) stars as Danny Desai, who returns to his old town after a 5 year stint in juvi.  He hopes to come back to no questions from the townspeople, to be welcomed back with open arms from

Don’t miss the season finale of THE GOOD WIFE!

I was going to write a “5 reasons to watch tonight’s THE GOOD WIFE,” piece, but when it really comes down to it, there is only one reason to watch – it’s everything.  The show is smart and dark; twisty and turny; funny and everything you can imagine a show should be.  And it’s a legal drama with creative cases and a rotating cast of judges that light up my life! I can’t oversell this enough.  The writing on the

CourtneyK offers a Quick Take refresher on SCANDAL to get pumped for an all new episode!

IT. HAS. BEEN FORREEEEVVVVER!! (Technically, a few weeks. But WEEKS!!!)  And I have been absolutely craving a new episode of SCANDAL! Week after week, this Shonda Rimes gem has delivered. Never ONCE disappointing. Last time, we saw Olivia freaking out as the slow realization that her hunky new love interest (Helloooo Scott Foley you twisted fella you!) has been spying on her. (Did anyone else shriek at the screen alongside her???) Yes yes, he was doing it on the orders

Quick Take: It’s Valentine’s Day on THE MIDDLE

Tonight’s episode of THE MIDDLE has a little bit of the everything about I love so much – Brick getting exasperated with Frankie and getting the classic third child treatment; Mike getting put into uncomfortable situations at work because he tries to do something nice; Sue on the verge of losing her positivity over the Valentine’s Dance; Axl’s genius plans (and the genius way they backfire); Boss Co, in general; surprises; romance; you name it!  I will talk until I’m

Thursday Must Watch: CourtneyK preps you for SCANDAL’S return

SCANDAL was not new last week, and that was not okay with us here at MToT!  CourtneyK wanted to remind you what happened last and why you should tune in tonight! On the heels of President Grant’s recovery, he drops the bomb on his plotting wife; he wants a divorce! Ohhh my! The fallout of that statement is going to be HUGE! There’s no real telling how Mellie is going to react, how Olivia will react! How THE PUBLIC will

Quick Take: DO NO HARM on NBC

Tonight on NBC, Steven Pasquale stars as Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde, or rather Dr Jason Cole and Mr Ian Pierce, two sides of a very split personality, in the new drama series DO NO HARM.  Jason is a brilliant surgeon who has been able to keep his evil side at bay with the help of a friend and modern medicine, for 5 years.  On his birthday, Ian rears his ugly head (well, it’s not ugly, since Pasquale is attractive,

Quick Take: SUITS is back tonight on USA!

Tonight on USA, SUITS returns to finish up its sophomore season with an episode that hopes to answer the question “What comes next?” now that Daniel Hardman has been removed from power.  The victory over Hardman comes with almost no time to settle, as Harvey and Mike need to face the next possible-secret-blowing crisis head on.  Mike is at a low in this episode, sleeping with his married friend Tess (you remember Tess, right, from his grandmother’s funeral a week
