As anyone who knows me knows – I love PARENTHOOD. I love indie-rock music from unheard of and surprising acts. And most importantly, I love them together. The PARENTHOOD Soundtrack that was released in 2010 has consistently been among my top-listened-to music since I got it, and now, Volume 2 is out with another batch of songs we’re all destined to fall in love with!
It seems fitting that my 2000th post on the site would be a bit of a love letter to one of the best shows on TV – PARENTHOOD – which returns to NBC tonight at 10/9c for Season 5 on an all new night, with all new stories sure to make me laugh, cry, and fall a little bit more in love with everything about the show as time goes by.
NBC has officially renewed 5 of their drama series for their next seasons with 22 episodes each – established dramas GRIMM, LAW & ORDER: SVU, and PARENTHOOD, along with freshman series CHICAGO FIRE (which I love more with each episode) and REVOLUTION (which has seen some ratings dips since returning from a long hiatus, but that doesn’t seem to have affected NBC’s affinity for the show).
