SANCTUARY on for Season 2

There is some good news coming in among all of the cancellations.  My girl, and fellow GHOST HUNTER, Amanda Tapping got the good news this week that her dark adventure series SANCTUARY, currently airing on SciFi Fridays, would be returning for season 2! Congrats Amanda, and we look forward to seeing more!

NBC cancels LIPSTICK JUNGLE and MY OWN WORST ENEMY

In a move that should honestly shock no one, NBC has pulled the plug on production of two of its “hits” as it were.  LIPSTICK JUNGLE (which maybe never should have seen a season 2) and MY OWN WORST ENEMY (a show that, admittedly, I enjoyed) were given the old heave-ho late Wednesday. I was surprised that LIPSTICK JUNGLE made it back to NBC this season.  With CASHMERE MAFIA getting a quick death over at ABC, I thought for sure

LIFE gets season pickup

I know I’m a few days behind but a trip to Boston that involved way more laughing and twittering than should be legally allowed, I wanted to pop in to let you all know that our man Charlie Crews and LIFE is officially sticking around for the full season!  NBC gave it the full 22 episode season we were hoping for!

A few January premieres

It’s about that time to start gearing up for the spring half of the season.  Some of my faves have released some important dates to put on your calendars: USA – MONK and PSYCH are back on January 9 at 9 and 10, respectively (a Friday). USA – BURN NOTICE returns (I’ve missed you Michael Weston) on January 22 at 10 (a Thursday). SciFi – GHOST HUNTERS INTERNATIONAL comes back on January 7 at 9 (a Wednesday). SciFi – STARGATE ATLANTIS ends

Brooke Smith fired from GREY'S ANATOMY

In a story that has our fellow bloggers in an uproar, I thought I’d check in and post some thoughts.  Rumor has it that Brooke was let go after the story of Callie/Erica took a decidedly graphic turn in the past few scripts.  ABC apparently sent the order down, and it sounds like it was not Shonda Rhimes’ decision in anyway.  In an exclusive Q&A with Michael Ausiello, Brooke says that she didn’t think Shonda had anything to do with

LIFE moving to Wednesdays!

In a move that actually shows promise for (and NBC’s faith in) one of my favorite shows, LIFE, NBC has decided to move it to Wednesdays, sandwiched between new hit KNIGHT RIDER and established legacy LAW & ORDER on their new “Crime Night.” I think this could mean great things for LIFE. Ratings loser LIPSTICK JUNGLE moves to Fridays at 10 (aka the death slot), effective this coming Friday night (I hate the thought of not seeing Robert Buckley on a
