CW announces 2011-2012 schedule

New dramas, left and right.  Ever wonder why CW doesn’t try more half hour comedies? Oh that’s right, their luck with those faded out back when Sunday nights did, too. Anyway! CBS announces 2011-2012 schedule

The network with not that much to prove, having hour after hour of solid drama, and only a few stumbling comedies, has put out their 2011-2012 season schedule. Most notable is that after 10 years in the slot, CSI is moving away from Thursday at 9!  New shows listed below in BLUE; new days/times listed in GREEN! NBC announces 2011-2012 schedule

One day ahead of their UpFront presentation tomorrow, NBC has released their 2011-2012 schedule. Fans will notice that the biggest move comes in the form of CHUCK, moving now to Friday nights at 8 for their final season. Other moves include HARRY’S LAW which will spend its second season sandwiched between a new comedy night and SVU. Here’s the schedule, with videos of all new shows after the jump! BREAKING: Showtime renews SHAMELESS and EPISODES for Second Seasons!

Showtime announced today that they were giving second seasons to two of their Sunday shows: EPISODES and SHAMELESS (they join the already renewed CALIFORNICATION). NBC unveils shuffled midseason schedule

NBC released their midseason schedule today and it would be easier to list the shows that didn’t move based on the fact that just about every show is heading somewhere new come January! Morning News: ABC Series Style

Quick news this morning:  ABC gave full season pick ups to two series last night – NO ORDINARY FAMILY, starring Michael Chiklis and Julie Benz, and BETTER WITH YOU, starring Joanna Garcia and Jennifer Finnigan.  Both of the shows are actually still being recorded on my DVR but are being watched with reluctance.  Knowing that they have a full season, I’ll save them and catch them on a rerun break for other networks.
