Pilot/Renewal Updates 2012-2013

Updated 4:30PM Eastern 5/21 with the latest  As we head into the most infamous week in Network scheduling, the UpFront week, I, like many other bloggers, think now is the time to update everyone on where our favorite shows stand as of end of day yesterday (in order of upfront presentation schedule). NBC’s fantastic “Brotherhood of Man” SuperBowl spot

I love this commercial – 3 minutes and 50 seconds of most of our favorite NBC faces singing together about being in a “Brotherhood of Man” (from the broadway show “How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying”).  Great to see PARENTHOOD folks, THE OFFICE, UP ALL NIGHT, PARKS AND REC, SNL, and others having a great time with it – what do you think?  What’s your favorite moment?  I mean, is anyone better than Amy Poehler??

WHITNEY and UP ALL NIGHT score full season orders from NBC; PLAYBOY CLUB not so lucky

File this under: What? and Ok, I guess so? and Yeah that makes sense – NBC has given full season pickups to WHITNEY and UP ALL NIGHT.  The Whitney Cummings sitcom has been a moderate hit.  I can only hope that it meets the same fate that last season’s surprise full season pickup OUTSOURCED got at the end of Season 1.  As for UP ALL NIGHT, I will continue watching, and hoping that it gets better, but even if it’s

NBC announces 2011-2012 schedule

One day ahead of their UpFront presentation tomorrow, NBC has released their 2011-2012 schedule. Fans will notice that the biggest move comes in the form of CHUCK, moving now to Friday nights at 8 for their final season. Other moves include HARRY’S LAW which will spend its second season sandwiched between a new comedy night and SVU. Here’s the schedule, with videos of all new shows after the jump!
