Chatting COUGARTOWN and SCRUBS with Bill Lawrence

Bill Lawrence has a whole lot to celebrate these days.  His new show, COUGARTOWN, is a hit, with Golden Globe nominations and a full season, and ratings that are really impressive for a brand new series.  His old show doesn’t seem to ever want to go away – SCRUBS is in its 9th season, and it doesn’t seem to have an end in sight. Bill and I had a chance to chat about what’s coming up for both shows, and

Christian Slater wants you to watch THE FORGOTTEN

While everyone else has been focusing their new fall TV energy towards CBS’ THE GOOD WIFE, calling it a great show, with great performances, etc, I just haven’t fallen for it.  Instead, I find myself curling up after Quizzo on Tuesdays to watch another new series, this one on ABC, and starring one of my favorite people – the forgotten with Christian Slater.  It has quietly grown a following, and ABC gave the show an additional 5 episodes early in

Talking THE CLOSER with creator James A Duff

So you guys know that I love THE CLOSER, right?  That it’s the highlight of my week when it’s on, and that I think it’s funny and dramatic – a show that totally makes me laugh out loud and cry my eyes out?  Tonight’s all new episode, “Dead Man’s Hand”, Mary McDonnell is back as Captain Raydor, and this time she’s back under very different yet familiar circumstances.  The episode is done so darn well, and the chemistry between Raydor

Talking SCRUBS with Donald Faison and Dave Franco

Tonight on ABC, you’ll catch your first glimpse of the re-invented SCRUBS ([Medical School] as Bill Lawrence wants it to be known).  The old Sacred Heart Hospital is gone, and our favorite doctors are now teaching at the conveniently located medical school down the street. Drs. Turk and Cox are there to provide wisdom, along with, for a short time, Dr. John Dorian, who tries so desperately, as you might imagine, to be the cool teacher that everyone adores.  It’s

Eric Stonestreet talks MODERN FAMILY

You guys, seriously, is there a funnier brand new comedy this season than ABC’s MODERN FAMILY?  Every single episode of the show has me laughing out loud at least once, and for my money, one of the funniest cast members is the genius Eric Stonestreet, who plays Cameron.  In tonight’s all new episode, Cameron dresses up as Fizbo the clown for Luke’s birthday party, and as one can only imagine, hilarity definitely ensues!  I had a chance to speak with

V's Morena Baccarin checks in

Are you guys as hooked on V as I have been?  From the minute I watched the pilot a few months back, to the end of episode 2 last week, I’ve been dying to see more.  In tonight’s episode, ABC says “Chad reports from the Peace Ambassador Center as 100 diplomatic visas are being issued to the first wave of American Visitors, with Anna getting the 1st, but not everyone agrees with the decision. Meanwhile Erica has started tracking a

Amber Stevens talks GREEK finale

I have been saying all over the place, anywhere that anyone will listen, that this season of GREEK has been my favorite so far.  The stories have been sharp, the humor is top notch, and the twists and turns have made for some of the most consistently enjoyable hours of TV this Fall!!  One of the best things about the show is how much time they’ve spent fleshing out the characters that could have easily been stereotypes of the varied

FLASHFORWARD with Sonya Walger!

One of the pilots I found myself eagerly anticipating earlier this summer was ABC’s FLASHFORWARD, the story of what happens when the world blacks out for around 2 minutes, and they see their future.  I got the chance to watch the pilot early and on a fancy big screen and I was hooked from the get go.  One of the stand outs for me in a very diverse cast was my favorite LOST-ian, Sonya Walger (Penny on LOST; Olivia here).

In THE MIDDLE with Patricia Heaton

ABC’s offering up some of the greatest comedy on TV these days, and I have to say that I’m falling more in love with Patricia Heaton’s show THE MIDDLE with every episode I watch (it’s got to be because I relate so much with the harried mom and dad who love each other and their strange and wonderful children). In celebration of tonight’s all new episode, “The Block Party”, I had the chance to chat with Patricia about why she
