It’s GLEE day on FOX – can you stand it? GLEE is the story of a Spanish teacher, Will Scheuster (Broadway’s Matthew Morrison) who takes over for Sandy Ryerston, who was forced out after some allegations of impropriety. What happens over the next hour, in an effort to not over hype this show, is one of the greatest hours of TV I’ve seen in a long time. Some Fall news that I’m super excited about (because I love me some Tim Roth) – FOX has officially picked up LIE TO ME for a Season 2. Shawn Ryan, from THE SHIELD and THE UNIT, steps up from Executive Producter to Showrunner (which leads me to believe that THE UNIT is done).
It’s about that time to start gearing up for the spring half of the season. Some of my faves have released some important dates to put on your calendars: USA – MONK and PSYCH are back on January 9 at 9 and 10, respectively (a Friday). USA – BURN NOTICE returns (I’ve missed you Michael Weston) on January 22 at 10 (a Thursday). SciFi – GHOST HUNTERS INTERNATIONAL comes back on January 7 at 9 (a Wednesday). I was a bit on the fence about Season 3, but watching it all back in succession on my TiVo put me on the “excited for what they do in Season 4” side of things.
