This morning, THE CW released their 2017 fall schedule. They’ll have their premieres in early October, with 2 new series in the Fall, and 2 held for midseason (LIFE SENTENCE and BLACK LIGHTNING, which we learned is NOT a part of the Arrowverse) – with THE 100, IZOMBIE, and THE ORIGINALS coming then, too! Most notably, Tuesday is staying the same; everything else is changing, with JANE THE VIRGIN heading to Friday nights to be paired with CRAZY EX-GIRLFRIEND. Take
CBS released their Fall schedule earlier today and not much changed. But they do offer us a few new shows, and they released trailers for those shows today. Quick reactions? Zoe Perry was the PERFECT decision for YOUNG SHELDON (though I’m not sure making the show was a good decision); lots of dramas look the same as other dramas we’ve seen again and again on CBS (and in the case of the Piv’s new show, ON FOX, THIS SEASON). ABC released their fall schedule today – take a look at where your favorites landed! ONCE UPON A TIME is on the move to the family-friendly Friday night; BLACK-ISH is grabbing the 9PM Tuesday slot, but not much else is moving around. Four new shows will be on this Fall, with more, like DECEPTION, THE CROSSING, FOR THE PEOPLE, SPLITTING UP TOGETHER, and ALEX, INC (the show previously called untitled Zach Braff). Last week, they released a teaser. This morning, along with their new Fall schedule, FOX released the full trailer for the new series, THE GIFTED. Starring Amy Acker and Stephen Moyer, the show follows a family whose new super powers put them in a bit of a sticky situation.
