SUPERGIRL Season 4 will bring with it a familiar face as Brett Spiner is set to join the cast in a recurring role.  The well-known actor, whose 4-decades-long career includes many a stint as DATA in STAR TREK TV shows and films, will play the “adept and politically minded” Vice President Baker, who “makes for an unlikely leader, but steps up in a big way when his country needs him most.”

We’ve seen lots of news coming out of the SUPERGIRL camp during hiatus with Jesse Rath (Brainy), Sam Witwer (Agent Liberty), Rhona Mitra (Mercy Graves), and Nicole Maines (Nia Nal aka Dreamer, the first trans superhero to be featured on screen) joining a cast that recently saw the departures of Chris Wood (::spoilers:: Mon El is back in the future), Odette Annable, and Jeremy Jordan (who went from regular to recurring after Winn took a little trip himself; Jordan promises we will see Winn again).

SUPERGIRL season 4 will kick off on SUNDAY nights in October (the 14th to be exact) at 8/7c.
