First Look: Hulu’s first-ever original series Super Bowl ad: THE HANDMAID’S TALE
This Sunday, all eyes will be glued to the TV to watch the Falcons and the Patriots fight to win the Super Bowl 51 rings. Well most eyes anyway. Like so many people watching, I’m more likely to talk to my friends during the game, and keep my eyes glued to the commercials in between!!
This year, Hulu is taking advantage of the millions of eyes that will be watching with their first ever Super Bowl ad for an Original Series, the upcoming (incredibly well-done, more on that later) drama series THE HANDMAID’S TALE, starring Elisabeth Moss (MAD MEN), Joseph Fiennes, Alexis Bledel, OT Fagbenle, and more. Based on Margaret Atwood’s book of the same name (she serves as a consulting producer), THE HANDMAID’S TALE follows Moss’ Offred who has been forced to live as a concubine under a fundamentalist theocratic dictatorship in a dystopian future.
Check out the ad above and DEFINITELY be sure that you’re watching when the first episode is released on April 26.
