I’m just going to say it. I’m mad at Liv. I am!

What happened to our strong, fearless, teeny tiny, powerhouse of a female character??? She’s lost her edge, her Liv-ness! I had hope 2 episodes back when she was strutting that strut down in the “secret not secret” tunnels to meet Mellie. But then, then she lost it again!

I blame Fitz. There’s something about that man that just zaps Olivia of all her Liv-ness. (I could be crass here, but I’ll leave that to any dirty minds out there) I felt that Cyrus was just talking out of his behind when he accused her of orchestrating the whole “coup” instead of accidentally falling into the role of The Boss of Fitz. I was mad at Cy, then I realized that while it wasn’t on purpose and he got the details wrong, Cy was inadvertently right!

But it wasn’t Liv that did it, it was FITZ. That guy just NEEDS someone to tell him what to do, but when it’s pointed out, he flips out and fires you (see episodes when he did that MANY times). I cannot STAND that guy! He’s been weak and demanding and thrown tantrums even more than Mellie, who was spectacular in those moments. Fitz has been a problem for me since the pilot episode. I don’t like him. I should like him, but I really don’t. I’ve felt sorry for him, and softened to him on occasion. But I hate how the relationship between he and Liv have started dominating the show.

Give me back my strong powerhouse woman! Give me back fixing and saving clients! Give me back the storyline that wasn’t so dependent on a destructive relationship! (*sigh*) I miss it!

Saying that, I’m definitely excited to see the winter finale this week, mainly because I’m hoping Liv puts herself back together and publically does something so “Liv” that I’ll shout “SHE’S BACK, BABY!” at the screen. Will you be watching for that too?
