Name of the Episode: Grave New World

Beware – the follow contains spoilers!!!

I’m going to keep this short. Much to my dismay, instead of having a Liars-centric episode, it felt like half of the episode was dedicated to the new crossover show, Ravenswood. Hrmmmm.

First of all, I was SO EXCITED to watch the special, after the big reveal at season finale; Ezra walking into the A Den and throwing a fit, then the A-Dude creepily staring into the camera. *shuddddder*

I dresses on Hanna and Spencer were GORGEOUS, but Aria and Emily looked…well. I just didn’t care for those particular outfits.

I find myself continually beating my palm against my forehead, why why why do they keep splitting off from each other???

At the party, in the graveyard, in the tomb? Seriously, Aria, Spencer, Emily and Hanna need to tether themselves together! Though, obviously that may not deter whatever mystical-magical-creeptastical stuff going on in Ravenswood. The crazy wind in the tomb that turned Hanna into a statue? Bananas!

Something tells me that all the shenanigans of our Liars in Ravenswood, only have significance in Ravenswood. So yeah, I really am going to skip happily right over all of it.

Some of the crossover was necessary, I get it. Like in the final sequences Hanna basically telling Caleb to watch over Weird-Whiney-Bus-Girl, sorry, Miranda. The Hanleb fandom would’ve pooped bovine if Caleb and Hanna weren’t a couple anymore, so leaving that character door open in case Ravenswood takes a nosedive in the ratings is fine by me!

Let’s get to the nitty-gritty: ALISON IS MOST DEFINITELY ALIVE! Holy. Bikes. It was one thing to suspect it, but it’s quite another to have it confirmed! There’s TONS of problems with this; who’s body did they find in the grave?? Where has she been?? Is she the one responsible for the torment in Rosewood?? The questions are just rolling out!

And we have to wait until JANUARY to find out??? GAAAAAAAAH! All in all, this Halloween Special was better than the last two COMBINED! We got ACTUAL answers, well kind of. We were let in on the biggest suspicion I had, that Alison is alive and on the run but why and from whom??

I CAN’T WAIT TO FIND OUT!!!
