Netflix released the trailer for their latest new series DEREK (which already had a run in the UK and faced some backlash) starring Ricky Gervais (whose brain-child the show is) and everyone’s favorite round headed buffoon, Karl Pilkington!  The trailer gives us a little bit of insight into what we might expect each week – check it out.  Netflix’s official release states:

Ricky Gervais creates and stars in Derek, a comedy-drama about a loyal nursing home caretaker who sees only the good in his quirky coworkers as they struggle against prejudice and shrinking budgets to care for their elderly residents. All episodes begin streaming Sept 12, only on Netflix
