Last night before Sweeps, there is some great new stuff on!

The 8:00 Hour –

ABC has a rerun and a new episode of THE MIDDLE.  Up first, the episode where Sue guilts Frankie into getting her jeans, and then ruins them.  At 8:30, Axel’s ex drifts back into his life and Frankie worries he’ll get hurt again.  Brick cares for a baby chick for a school science project and it awakens his parental feelings.  On CBS, there are reruns of THE NEW ADVENTURES OF OLD CHRISTINE and TWO AND A HALF MEN!  On CHRISTINE, Ritchie is invited to a school dance by the most popular girl in school.  On 2.5 , Charlie discovers a secret that Chelsea’s been keeping from him about her finances.

FOX has a rerun of LIE TO ME – Zoe enlists Cal and the team to probe a college football star accused of statutory rape and Foster and Loker head to a religious compound to determine if it’s a dangerous cult.  NBC has a rerun of MINUTE TO WIN IT.  The CW has an all new episode of AMERICA’S NEXT TOP MODEL – the models head to New Zealand and must go to 6 go-sees.  For the photo shoot, they all wear the same dress and model with sheep.

The 9:00 Hour –

On ABC, catch all new episodes of MODERN FAMILY and COUGARTOWN.  On MF, Claire suspects there’s more than meets the eye when Phil’s dad stops by for a visit.  Cam offers to fill in as drummer for Dylan’s band, and Manny is in shock after seeing his first horror movie with Jay and Gloria.  On CT, Travis’ college acceptances (near and far) generate mixed emotions in Jules.  Laurie mulls her relationship with Smith when he returns, and Andy dreams of a world without Ellie’s rules.  Over on CBS, CRIMINAL MINDS is a rerun – Hotch leaves the BAU temporarily and the team investigates a home invasion case without him.

FOX has an all new episode of AMERICAN IDOL – another person is voted off and Lady Antebellum and Rascal Flatts perform.  NBC has an all new episode of MERCY.  A prison riot sends multiple injuries to the hospital.  Veronica learns a chilling secret about her patient, Chloe gives her football playing boyfriend some medical advice, and Sonya worries about the consequences of being involved in a former patient’s suicide.  The CW has all new episodes of FLY GIRLS and HIGH SOCIETY.  The TAPS team investigates a house in MA after the family hears ghostly footsteps, on GHOSTHUNTERS on Syfy.  BBC America has an all new episodes of PEEP SHOW and THAT MITCHELL AND WEBB LOOK.

The 10:00 Hour –

ABC has the series premiere of HAPPY TOWN – a horror show with a murder mystery set in the fictional small town of Haplin, MN.  The cast is headed up by George Stults, Steven Weber, Sam Neill, and Amy Acker.  CBS has a rerun of CSI: NY – Hawkes feels responsible when a software company executive bleeds to death on a city street.  LAW & ORDER: SVU is all new on NBC.  Stabler’s ex-partner requests that he and Benson investigate a case involving a dad accused of murdering his two daughters in a fire.

On MTV, there’s an all new REAL WORLD/ROAD RULE CHALLENGE: FRESH MEAT II – an injury has one team leaving the competition.  There are two all new episodes of Tyler Perry’s HOUSE OF PAYNE on TBS; on A&E, there’s an all new DOG THE BOUNTY HUNTER followed by BILLY THE EXTERMINATOR.

There’s an all new episode of IN PLAIN SIGHT on USA. Mary’s new witness, a former hit man, falls in love.  Mary has high hopes for the romance until he is dumped.  He is also bullied by a local politician and considers getting revenge.  Bravo has an all new episode of TOP CHEF MASTERS.  Master chefs Debbie Gold, Jody Adams, Maria Hines, Rick Tramonto, and Susur Lee cook for the cast of MODERN FAMILY.
