On HBO, the all new animated series THE RICKY GERVAIS SHOW is on, followed by THE LIFE AND TIMES OF TIM! On Syfy, don’t miss the thrill-ride of a premiere of STARGATE UNIVERSE. I’m a big fan of the show that mashes science fiction and character drama into one interesting ride! Tonight, a snafu with the communication stones lands Col Young’s consciousness in an unknown being that results in a standoff with Destiny and another ship, and the abduction of Chloe.
ABC still has an all new 20/20 – Jeff Garlin’s memoir is discussed. CBS has the pilot episode of a new show called MIAMI MEDICAL starring Jeremy Northam, Lana Parilla, and Omar Gooding. The show follows a team of trauma surgeons in a Miami hospital who must recover when their leader quits, and Jeremy Northam’s rebel turns up to replace him. DATELINE continues on NBC.
Starz has an all new episode of SPARTACUS: BLOOD AND SAND! Spartacus mourns the death of his gladiator friend, and when it is declared that the magistrate is definitely missing, Numerius and Batiatus mount a search effort to find him.
On Syfy tonight, the critically-acclaimed series MERLIN starts its second season (season 1 aired on NBC last summer). The premiere finds a new servant elbowing past Merlin to become Arthur’s manservant and turning the prince against the young warlock. Merlin soon learns that Cedric the new servant has his eyes set on stealing a jewel found in a recently discovered ancient tomb.
