Lots of stuff going on tonight – most importantly, the return of BETTER OFF TED!!!

The 8:00 Hour –

ABC airs CHARLIE BROWN CHRISTMAS (which first aired in 1965!) and their brand new holiday special, starring Dave Foley and Sarah Chalke, DISNEY PREP & LANDING, which tells the story of an elf who is passed over for a promotion and then needs to work with a younger elf in a dangerous storm.  Over on CBS, NCIS is a rerun – the episode “Toxic” where Abby’s life is in danger because of the secret project she’s working on.

FOX airs the top 8 performance episode of SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE.  Who do we think is going to go home this week?  Next week is the finale!!!  The live BIGGEST LOSER finale airs on NBC – do you have a favorite?  Meanwhile, a new episode of 90210, where Annie finally realizes Jasper is a creep, maybe, and Navid asks Ade for some help proving Jasper was the guy who pushed him down the steps!

The 9:00 Hour –

On ABC, you’ll find another new episode of SCRUBS, with JD and Drew learning the importance of mentoring and teacher/student relationships.  Most importantly, Season 2 of BETTER OFF TED starts at 9:30!  Veridian sets up a perfect-match chart, telling the staff who they should date.  Taye Diggs shows up and is awesome!  CBS has a repeat of the NCIS: LA episode that deals with the team searching for a missing Marine who murdered an Iraqi business man he was supposed to protect.

THE BIGGEST LOSER on NBC and SYTYCD on FOX continue through the hour, while a brand new episode of MELROSE PLACE airs on The CW.  Lots of relationship issues come up – did you see the preview of [spoiler alert] Ella and Jonah getting it on?

The 10:00 Hour –

In light of the news that Elisha Cuthbert is joining the cast, take some time to catch up on ABC’s rerun of the forgotten – the pilot replays tonight.  LENO is all new on NBC, but I pretend that doesn’t exist.  And THE GOOD WIFE airs a rerun of the episode where Alicia heads back to her old neighborhood to defend a neighbor kid.
