What's On? Monday, 12/7/09
Even with plenty of shows in reruns or off-air for the night, there’s still a lot of great stuff to check out tonight
ABC has an encore presentation of SANTA CLAUS IS COMIN’ TO TOWN. Over on CBS, both HOW I MET YOUR MOTHER and ACCIDENTALLY ON PURPOSE are new – on HIMYM, Joanna Garcia guest stars as the perfect girl, and the gang helps Ted find a way to date her while Marshall finds a letter from his youth, which has a dramatic effect on him; on AOP, Billie and Zack take separate birthing classes, and realize how little they know.
FOX has Carrie Underwood’s Holiday special for 2 hours featuring a wide variety of guests like Christina Applegate, Kristin Chenoweth, David Cook, Brad Paisley, and Dolly Parton. Meanwhile, NBC has a rerun of LAW AND ORDER: SVU, and an all new episode of ONE TREE HILL, where Nathan and Haley prepare to move, airs over on The CW.
On ABC, you’ll find another episode of FIND MY FAMILY. CBS has new episodes of TWO AND A HALF MEN and THE BIG BANG THEORY. On 2.5, Charlie finds out a secret about Chelsea, whatever that means, while on TBBT, Sheldon tries to teach Penny some physics and Wolowitz gets jealous of Leonard’s interaction with his girlfriend.
Another SVU rerun on NBC, and an all new GOSSIP GIRL airs on The CW, where someone gets into a pretty horrible accident. My favorite thing about tonight is the return of new episodes of THE CLOSER. The team deals with the death of a 12-year-old boy, while Brenda and Provenza deal with their respective relationship issues!
The 10:00 Hour –
CASTLE is all new on ABC, as Castle and Beckett deal with an amnesiac who is their only lead into the case of an art dealer’s murder. CSI: MIAMI is brand new too, with Eddie Cibrian’s new character possibly posing a threat to his new team.
Over on NBC, Leno is all new. The second season finale of RITA ROCKS airs on Lifetime, as the band gets their first paying gig, and 9-months-pregnant Rita is determined to perform no matter what the new baby has to say about it! Check out TNT’s latest show, MEN OF A CERTAIN AGE, as well!
